Joboshare iPhone Video Converter is a multi-format video converter. It was designed to help you convert your video files so that you can play them on your iPhone. But, this is not only an "iPhone converter", it supports a bunch of video formats, both as input and output, including 3GP, AVI, DV, MOV, MPEG, MPEG-4, H.264, M4V, RM, ASF, WMV, among many others.
Graphically, the application has a very standard look. At the bottom of the screen are the conversion profiles. From the "Class" drop-down menu, you can choose profiles for the iPod, iPhone, iPod, or AppleTV, or any standard video or audio format. On the left, you can change individual settings for the conversion profiles and then save them for later use. There is a video player that can be used to preview both audio and video files.
There aren't any advanced features in this converter other than splitting features and zoom. In my testing, I converted an FLV file into the default MPEG-4 format under the iPhone conversion profiles. The process took a little under 30 seconds for a minute-and-a-half video clip. And the resulting file played well.
